YOUNG ADULTS MINISTRY

Young Parents, Singles, and College Students

Small Group Discipleship

For our young adults there are several small group Sunday School classes available that focus on developing relationships, deepening our spiritual lives, family activities, and serving within our church.

Parents Night Out

Our Diaconate has historically served our young adults and parents by providing a night of free childcare, where kids get to watch movies on the big screen projectors, eat popcorn and pizza and play games with some of our deacons and other volunteers so that weary parents can enjoy an evening together out to dinner or a movie.  We feel this fosters relationship building and better marital relationships with our young adults and parents.

YOUNG ADULT CLASSES

The first young adults class was started in 2016 for the 20-40 somethings in our church to give them a place to learn and grow among those of their own age.  This class consists mostly of married or soon to be married couples, and a handful of single young adults, and focuses on discipleship and personal study of the Bible.  Classes meet at 9:45AM in the upper left classroom of the Adult Education Building or the middle room of the second floor in the main building.  Recent studies have gone through Judges, Genesis, Romans, and now John pulling out theological truths, asking the hard questions, and using apologetics to learn how we can better present the Gospel in our day to day relationships.

COLLEGE AND CAREER

Our College and Career class was created to meet the needs of our younger college students that are attending school close by and live in Williamston. They meet Sunday mornings at 9:45AM on the second floor of the main church building.

COMMUNITY GROUPS

Although we meet regularly together on Sundays at 8:30AM, 9:45AM, and 11AM and Wednesdays at 6PM for corporate worship and fellowship, we also have a few community groups that meet in homes during the week or on Sunday evenings going through G3 or 30 Day Prayer guides from the convention.  Contact the church office to find a community group to get plugged into!
