James joined Memorial Baptist as Pastor in July of 2022. He and his wife Kerri are originally from Tennessee where James was a firefighter and Kerri served as an assistance children’s director in their home church. They have served at various churches in Tennessee, North Carolina, and Georgia. He is a graduate of Liberty University and Luther Rice Seminary. James enjoys getting to know people and seeing lives changed through the power of the Gospel. Dillon Taylor was born and raised in Williamston and has been part of the Memorial Baptist Church family since birth. After placing his faith in Jesus Christ, he was baptized in 2014 and became a member of Memorial Baptist. He has had a growing desire to serve the Lord ever since.

Dillon attended Beaufort Community College, and worked various vocational jobs before accepting the call to ministry.

Today, he and his wife Caroline, are grateful for the opportunity to serve on staff at Memorial Baptist Church. Together, they have a heart for serving others and are passionate about sharing the gospel and investing in the lives of their church family and community.

Jane Ashley joined the staff as Children’s Minister in August of 2024 but she has been a member of MBC for over 15 years. She and her husband Jason both grew up in Williamston, met at Memorial Baptist in 2011, and have two children. Jane Ashley is a graduate of East Carolina University and has a background in Early Childhood Education. Before joining the staff of MBC, she worked as a Kindergarten teacher. Jane Ashley enjoys spending time with kids, teaching them about Jesus, and building relationships with their families.
